Office Registration Wizard

Hi,

I am installing FP 2000 on a laptop as a legal second copy. All went well until registration time when I foolishly indicated that I wanted telephonic registration with MS.

Now I cant get the Office Registration Wizard to 'forget' this even though I have uninstalled (with the CD) and reinstalled successfully. It now assumes that I always want to use telephonic registration.

Any ideas as to how I can get the wizard to take a step back and let me use the online option?

I think you should restart the Registration Wizard by using the command prompt...did you check out the following MSKB article ?

Yes - I have looked at that MS article and the Rewiz.exe failed to run. I am looking at editing the registry but I cant quite understand it. There is already an entry for FP but the instructions seem to be all about putting a new entry into the registry.

Do I have to delete the existing entry? I am loathe to mess with the registry unless I understand it completely. They seem to trying to restart the whole of Office whereas all I want to do is FP - I dont have Office 2000 anyway.
