I have an Iomega CD RW 650 and to be nice, it stinks:)

I can't burn a CD if my life depended on it;) I have tried all kinds of software and it still give me write errors and underrun errors.

Can some of you folks tell me how good is this cd proof thing they have with burners now?

    Thanks

I don't know about the write errors but from my experience today's burners have defeated the buffer underrun problems with "burn-proof" technology. I also recommend Lite-On and Aopen burners- have had nothing but success with them.

I use TDK burners at work and at home. They are burn proof and come with the NERO software package. I am very happy with all of them.

Do you have your burner hooked up as 'Master' or Slave? That could be the root of your problem.
