I have Windows XP and Outlook Express 6.0 (brand new computer).

I noticed that emails that used to have some graphics don't anymore.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi Barry - and Welcome

Could you please be a little more specific.

    What sort of graphics ?

Incoming emails or those you send ?

Are we talking about 'stationary' for messages you send - i.e. Message > New Message Using ... ?

or are we talking about something like Incredimail - again for messages you send ?

or incoming emails missing attachments or 'stationary' ?

Check Tools > Options > Send > Mail Sending Format > HTML ??

Please post back with this detail

This AM on my new computer at home I noticed an incoming email on OE from American Airlines that always had the American Airlines Logo and other graphics in the actual email itself (not an attachment). All those graphics have seemed to vanish on my new computer - just words now. Then, I came to work and the graphics worked fine as usual on my work computer (which uses OE 5.5) for that same email.

Actually, a lot of the email I got this AM from American Airlines has attachments inside the email in the sense that if you click the colored link, it will bring you to the website.

Like I said, it works fine on my work computer with OE 5.5, but not on my new home computer on OE 6.0. On my home computer, I have ONLY your basic black words in the email with no links or colors or graphics of any sort.

Is there a setting I need to change?

First thing to try, open Outlook Express, go to Tools>Options>Read tab and make sure "Read all messages in plain text" is not checked. If it is, uncheck it, click OK.
