'Customize Outlook Today' Not Working

I'm using Microsoft Office Premium 2000 with all current updates.
When I click on 'Customize Outlook Today', nothing happens. I have just recently done a clean install of Win XP Pro and Office 2000, thinking that that might correct the problem.
It seems like after going to IE 6, that's when the problem started, but I can't be sure.
Any help appreciated.

See if the MS KB article, You Cannot Customize Outlook Today After You Install Critical Update 813489 for Internet Explorer has the solution.
