    Hi,

My XP is playing tricks on me tonight. I first noticed that IE6 wouldn't work properly. It would load but upon trying to go to a page (any page) it hangs.

Then I noticed the same is true for Yahoo Messenger, it loads and hangs. Possibly for other stuff as well.

I created a new user and everything works fine in there, IE, Yahoo etc - zero problems so I'm guessing something has gotten corrupted in my orig Admin account.

Any ideas how to go about fixing it as it's going to be a pain to migrate everything like Outlook/email etc to a new user.

    Help greatly appreciated.

    Paul

Is it the actual Administrator account that is messed up?

Regardless of which account is corrupt, you can migrate most of your personal preferences by creating yet another account, making it a member of administrators, logging on with it, and then doing copy/paste from the original account to the new one you plan to use.
