I have the NVIDIA GeForce 2MX (AGP) video card on my system. I need to upgrade the drivers due to a recent installation of Win XP.

Are the International (UDA) drivers the correct ones to use for the NVIDIA GeForce 2MX (AGP) with Win XP?
    See Link: http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_44.03
Please respond as soon as possible, I would like to address my problem.
    TIA

    Hi AceH!

I´ve recently installed Win XP Pro and I have the same graphics card. I downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia but I never installed neither them nor any other drivers for my Sound Card, Ethernet Card, Monitor or Mainboard.

It seems like XP got it right and as long as it seems to work, I wont fix it ......

    Regards,
    Christer

    Edited:

I did a clean install, not an upgrade.

The drivers in Your link are the same as I downloaded but never installed.

NVidia's releases are always good. All drivers for all MX cards are included in the driver download, and it's a self-detecting install.
I have a mix of MX2's, and MX4's, and the one driver updates them all.

Ironically, after installing the new drivers I discovered that problem was not with the drivers but with my monitor's refresh rate. Oh well, at least I have the latest NVIDIA drivers and they are working just fine.

    Hey,
Im having a problem with XP Pro and a Geforce 4 MX 400...
The windows drivers work well but when you fire up a game (any game that needs 3D) the Computer restarts it self.... So i got the Package drivers from Nvidia and when i install them and restart it alll goes fine for about 30 seconds after windows logs on then the screen goes blank (like Standby or Hibernate) and nothing will wake it up except the Cold Power swith at the Back.???

    What do you guys recon?

I would think your monitor's refresh rate is set too high in Windows.
Restart in SafeMode, set it to 1024x768 at 16bit, and then restart.
If it works, you can try 24 bit, but most monitors can't do any higher than 1024x768 at 32 bit. If you're going for 1152x864, then you'll have to drop it back to 16 bit.

    Hey thanks for the reply,
I will try that but 1 thing i stuffed up (pretty bad) is that its a MX 440 64meg DDR..
I was running at 1024x768 32bit... With all the drivers i tryed... iwill try that.

By the way, I still think that my Old Diamond Vipper V770 Ultra out strips these cards..but for some reason that card dosent display 2d (windows) very well.. It cast shadows of white light across the screen from corners and such..But in 3D it runs in a higher resalution the most of the MX 440 ive tryed...

    thanks again...
