Explorer error @ pdm.dll.

    What makes explorer cause an error at pdm.dll? It does not occur in a pattern. It just does it almost 90% of the time when I'm online. I have Windows Me (the most infamous). I have a Celeron 566 mHz with 15GB. Any response will be appreciated.

    Hi - and Welcome aboard :D

    Possibly a corrupt file or installation - suggest you do a repair of IE.

    Not familiar with Me (it lasted 6 days on my m/c before being binned!). but try Add/Remove Programs > IE. Clicking remove may give you the option to repair or re-install. Depends on what version of IE you are using.

    In XP with IE 6 the repair route is different.

    Let us know what you are running - and what you find.

    Thanks for responding! The error usually says "Explorer has caused an error in pdm.dll. Explorer will now close." I will try to repair the IE 6 installation, and will get back to you. Again, thanks a lot.
