    nvidia driver helper service? what does it do?
    And do i need it?

    It shows (in services.msc) as just a name without a descriiption but it is started / automatically.

    using XPHome OS.

    This particular service seems to have little or no function other then capturing crash data in some obscure log file. It can be
    safely stopped and disabled.
