New here and new to XP. Came from Win 3.0, 95, 98, ME tho. So not a total dummy. XP does have a lot of new "stuff" to consider. Hard to determine whats needed vs whats not right now. I'm sure gobbs of questions later (when i get smart enough to ask them).

Already picked up so info i plan to exploit, like black vipers page (that should keep me busy for a while).

Just got access to highspeed and a new pc to boot. So my world is good today.

Looking forward to reading and learning a lot about XP. I really fought about getting it for about a year because ME was very good for games (and crashes).

    MY PC:

Let me add my welcome to Daizy's.

One thing when you post an XP question/problem, be sure to specify XP-home or XP-pro because in some ways they are very different.

I think you will like the OS though. Especially after ME.
