Hi I'll try to make this quick.

On trying to burn a c.d the other day I kept get the message " no autorun ".

I somehow seemed to change the path to an autorun file I keep on another H.D.

Now when I try to click on drive C in " My computer" the computer starts to install a program from H.D drive g, which is physically another drive altogether from drive C

All the sys files are naturally on Drive C, but in " My Computer" the drive icon looks like a program not an H.D.

    Please help

    O.k I think I have solved it.

I'll leave this post up just in case ( on the extreme off chance somebody has the same problem).

I seemed to have written a "autorun. exe" file to the h.d C DIR
Once I deleted the file and restarted the comp it all seems o.k.

    Hi Danny,

That was real neat :D - first time I've heard of a hard drive autoplaying !

    Thanks for posting the solution.
