I am having problems with having my computer automatically remember my password and automatically dialing my internet connection when opening Internet exporer. I have checked the boxes for it to connect automatically and to remember password and sometimes it will work but after a few times sometimes after the 1st time of logging off it will not automatically connect. With my outook email it will connect but with IE it will not. I have to go through Programs:Accesories:Communications:Dialup connections: and connect that way:
I have put a shortcut on my desktop so I dont have to do above evertime but it used to connect automatically.
I have run a virus scan and Spyware program but still cant get it to work right.
    Any Ideas or solutions:
    Thanks,
    Mike

Were you given any dialup software from your ISP?

Went to tools:Internet options and set to dial. Still won't save password though. Don't know about any software from ISP but my provider did just sell to another company and we now are under a new provider.

Mike, I'm not on dialup anymore but I seem to remember having that problem before.

I think the fix was to delete the account in Dial Up Networking and set it up again.

I have even had to un-install dial up networking and re-install it before it would remember my password.
