Where can i remove the signature file added by programs on outlook express ?

    Where can i remove the signature file added by programs ( such as antivirus) on outlook express ?

    I have Outlook 6.

    i would realy like to know where the file is to edit it.

    Look in the options of whatever program is adding the tag.

    Try :

    OE > Tools > Options > Signatures

    I would have thought that antivirus signatures are of some comfort to the recipients - assuming that your AV checks outgoing mail.

    nope.

    doe thes programs write something to a file ?

    Im not conserned about the antivirus.....just the spam blocker puts a ad at the end of the email.

    Another thought is the *.ini file for your anti spam program, if there is one - make a back up of it and edit if there's anything there pertaining to signatures.

    Maybe something like :

    Signature = 1 is ON, = 0 is OFF or vice versa.

    Apart from that, no further ideas - sorry :(
