When i reboot my computer, a link to an offensive website opens when i launch IE 6 browser. I try removing all things related in the registry, but it just keeps coming back. How can i locate the program that is writing this and remove it from my system?

IE-SPYAD adds all sorts off offensive sites to IE Restricted zone via a reg file. Well worth installing. Check it out

Re. the current problem check out the cookie file - it's probably lurking there??

Did you try the solutions suggested under "Fixing the Hijack" in the Spyware site suggested by Bmoore1129?
