OE 6 sent items

    After many months of flawless operation, I now find that OE6 does not put my sent messages in the sent folder. I've checked tools/options/send tab and the box to save sent messages to the sent folder is checked. No new programs/changes/etc. Any suggestions? Art

    Uncheck it. Close out OE and reboot. Go back in and check it. Maybe this time it'll stick.

    Thanks Steve. I tried that and it didn't help. The message gets sent OK but does not appear in the sent folder. Any other ideas? Art

    Might try this. Create a new folder. Move all the mail out of sent to the new folder. Find and delete sent items.dbx. Send an email. The sent folder will be recreated.

    Select the Sent Items folder. Go to View > Current View

    See that there is a bullet next to "Show All Messages "
