MS Critical Updates

Hi all: Windows Update is showing me two critical updates to install. 811493 is this the new corrected version? Also Q815021XP.

Has anyone installed these, and have you experienced any problems? I know the first caused many problems for people the first time it was released. As far as 815021 I don't run a server (at least that I know of), so is it necessary?

The first is the fixed version, re-released, no problems.
The second patches a hole, as well as for servers. Get it, it's small, no harm done.

 

Thanks reboot. Now I have an email from MS for a security setting in IE6 for MS03-020.

 

Hey reboot: Just an update, I downloaded and installed all updates. No apparent problems so far. Thanks for the help and advice. The IE6 was number 818529.

 

Q818529 refers to IE6 with all MS OS's from 98 up.
