AOL hangs after upgrading IE

    I recently helped a friend upgrade to a cable modem. We upgraded her Win98 system to IE 6 while we were doing it.
    Everything worked find. We opened IE and We opened AOL.
    After I left and she shut everything down, she went to reopen
    AOL and it hangs... won't go to the sign on screen, just hangs.
    She shut down several times. Still AOL hangs every time she tries to get on. Any suggestions?
