deleting items from windows xp menu

Windows xp
How do i delete an unwanted item from my right click menu.
while on line i right click the mouse and up comes the menu. on the menu i have >>>> free galleries<<<< thats what i want to delete. i downloaded the toys opened hit templates and it is not on the list. Thanks again for your reply

Go here and download TweakUI for XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

After it's installed, launch it and click Templates
In the right pane uncheck the items you don't want.

 

Seems to me that that applies only to Windows Explorer's File\New menu.

There are third-party apps which will accomplish what he wants, but I haven't used any of them, so can't come up with a name.

 

See if the information in Customizing Right-Click Menu Options in Windows is what you need.

 

It's an IE menu, not an Explorer menu.
In XP, they're located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\
Edit to remove whatever you don't want.
The usual registry editing cautions apply.
