deleting items from windows xp menu

    Hello and thanks
    Windows xp
    How do i delete an unwanted item from my right click menu.
    while on line i right click the mouse and up comes the menu. on the menu i have >>>> free galleries<<<< thats what i want to delete. i downloaded the toys opened hit templates and it is not on the list. Thanks again for your reply

    Seems to me that that applies only to Windows Explorer's File\New menu.

    There are third-party apps which will accomplish what he wants, but I haven't used any of them, so can't come up with a name.

    It's an IE menu, not an Explorer menu.
    In XP, they're located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\
    Edit to remove whatever you don't want.
    The usual registry editing cautions apply.
