No pictures on web sites

no pictures on web-sites just text
what can I do to correct?

 

Which browser do you use? Are you running any type of content filter?

 

lonehorse_1--If you are running IE, the simplest solution could be to check IE Tools|Internet Options|Advanced tab|Multimedia. Is "Show Pictures" checked? If not, check, click Apply, OK.
If that is not the answer, please respond to brett's questions.

On IEs toolbar go help about post that information here for us
all of it..
when did this start?

Look in you'r favorites , see if theres a toogle images
it may if visable have a exe extension,. use it then go to another web site or refresh current page --any images ?If not use it again.
so we are back to normal.

On IE's toolbar go > tools internet options on that first window use the delete files button and mark the popup to delete all offline content, next use the [clear history]
Then use the advanced tab scroll down to multimedia
I have everything checked there except
[ ] play video in web pages,, so if you add a check mark click the apply and OK
Any luck yet -IF not somepeople have luck by unchecking
[ ] show image download placecard holders
( same are of advanced ,internet options)
You could also search this site for red X's ,its a common problems
,usualy solved by clearing the TIF(delete files and offline content)
