Myself and one other co-worker have been experiencing reminders that pop up for certain events in our calendar that will not go away. We click Dismiss and sometime within the next week or so (I've not detected a pattern) they will pop up again. I've run the /cleanreminders switch as recommended in the newsgroups and it has not solved the problem. This only happens with certain appointments, not all..

    Any ideas?
    TIA

    From a usenet post:-

After pulling my hair out for the past week, I have stumbled onto a fix for the incredibly annoying re-occurring reminders for appointments in the distant past. Removing offline access from the Exchange server service properties and from Outlook's options/mail services AND deleting any/all .ost files caused the reminders to stop occurring. I had previously used the /cleanreminders switch without any luck. Hope this helps those admins that have been experiencing this same problem.

The offline folder will be recreated once you re-enable offline access. Like yourself, I rely on being able to take my laptop home and work offline, it just seems that for whatever reason, the .ost can become corrupted and it needs to be rebuilt in order to eliminate those pesky reminders.

    :-(

Deleting the .ost file did not work.. The reminders came back this morning. Also, offline access was never enabled.. Any other thoughts? This is so annoying..

    Thanks..
