What should I do after I install new hardware, since it messed up the windows assigned key? Should I call or can I just email them? Thanks

Can you please be more specific with your problem? I only need my key when I install XP, how did yours get "messed up "? What kind of hardware did you install? If you are looking for a key generator, we don't do that here.

No, do I have to call Windows or do I just email them if I need a new key, because I upgraded my harddrive and had to reinstall it.. and now it says it was already registered. I remember reading something about this happening...

If you are talking about reactivating, go to Start > Run and type:

    oobe/msoobe /a

It will tell you if it is activated or give you instructions.
