    Still can do....

Make sure you have a 2nd User on XP. You can add users by going to the User Accounts applet in XP's Control Panel.

Now, log in to this other user account.

Start Windows Explorer, and from the menu, choose Tools > Folder Options.

On the View tab, select: Show hidden files and folders
and un-check: Hide extensions for known file types as well as Hide protected operating system files

Now open \ Documents and Settings \ your original login name \ Local Settings

Here you should see a folder Temporary Internet Files. Right-click this folder and delete.

Log out of this profile, and back into your original profile. The TIF folder will be re-created, and will be (obviously) completely empty....

Well, I'm sorry, but it's something with your system... check for spyware or any other malicious stuff... that's all I can say...

Are we in the twilight zone?

This might work, but be very careful how u use it because it does open the gate so to speak so to speak. go to internet opetions but befoire that go to thios site and highlight the url and hi9t copy then hit internet options then tools then privacy. once you get there hit edir then copy the url into the space then hit always allow then rebioot and try to access it.

I'll tewll you thouigh, I am convinced there is siome kind of spyware or something around that causes this. It hqppened to me on a copuple of sites and its weird, but the above may hel[p.

For examplue if I go onto Ubid and try to bid on anything sony it tells me the page is not available now. yet the resrt of theisite works perfectly. Ironically i bought a vaio through the site about 4 months ago. It's almost like someone knew or found out and is preventing me from buying SONY products. I've recently had otther things happen in the same vein , but only on something I subscribe to.

Am, I in the twilite zone or what?
