I have always used the classic view of the control panel. The XP view origininally installed showed the location of System Restore very easily but I can't seem to locate it while in classic view.
I would even like to put a shortcut in a deskto folder to make it easier to set a restore point when I want.

I just can't seem to find that utility.

    Easy Tenbob :)

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

Right Click - 'Send to > Desktop (create Shortcut)

I like this way better. Hold down windows key and press pause/break key. Select System restore tab.

    System Restore

Windows/pause will only allow me to RESTORE. I want to be able to save a restore point. the other method is simple after I put that icon on the desktop
