I copied some music from CD onto my computer (I own the CD's so that is legal). Since then, I built a new computer and moved the files over to it, however WMP 7.1 won't play them. It says that a license cannot be found. I turned off personal rights management, but still no go. Any ideas?

Hmmm, good point. I turned it off after I copied the files. I shall try erasing them and recopying. Will post back with results.

I think when you download WMA's, it knows what computer the file was originally downloaded to. I downloaded a WMA at work and when I brought it home, it wanted to connect to the internet to find a license. Essentially what I had to do was re-download the WMA at home because it could never find the license it needed to play the original file at home.
