I have Music Match 7.5 installed on both of my computers. One is a AMD Athlon XP 2100+ with 512MB on the RAM and Windows XP Pro. The other is a AMD K6 3D with 256MB on the RAM and Windows ME.
I use Music Match to rip songs from my cassette and records on to my hard drive to convert to WAV.
files. Everything was working OK until I downloaded Windows Media 9. Now on the XP2100 computer when I press the record button in Music Match, the sound stops and nothing records. On the The K6 computer when I open Music Match, after a few minutes, the program begans to stick and the
recording skips really bad. I uninstalled and reinstalled Music Match on both computer, but nothing works. I tried to uninstall Window Media 9, but I can't. Can anybody help me with this problem?

Hey, have you tried opening add-remove programs (XP) and on the left (inXP Home) "set program access & controls" which lets you de-select Windows Media Player. The selection list is hidden (on my machine at least) under the down pointing chevrons.

    Good Luck.
