I currently use Outlook Express 5 to manage 4 'pop3' mail accounts and a hotmail account. I am about to go abroad for 3 weeks where I will have no internet access. I have set up a task in task scheduler which will connect to the internet and download my emails every 3 days, this currently works fine.

My problem is Hotmail bounces all your emails once you reach your 2mb's limit - as I recive a large number of attachments to this account I am worried I am going to miss a large number of 'bounced' emails.

Ideally I could set up a 'message rule' in outlook which transfers the hotmail emails received into my 'local folders' inbox, unfortunatley the 'message rules' do not apply to 'http' accounts (ie hotmail).

Any ideas how i can resolve? (wether it be in outlook express or even in my hotmail settings!)

    jonboygriffiths,

Can't help you as far as your Hotmail account settings, but.........
Consider setting up a free email account with mail.yahoo.com. Yahoo has a mail forwarding feature. They also offer 4mb of storage as opposed to Hotmail's 2mbs. Then do a mass mailing to everyone, providing your new Yahoo email address. After setting up the mail forwarding and arriving back home from your trip abroad, all your email would be available to you in your Outlook Express account. Does this sound like a workable solution to your problem?

Can you set your Hotmail account to download and remove from the server?
