DDR Ram Speed.

    When I buy DDR Ram it has a sticker on it that indicates something like PC2700.

    Would anyone happen to know how I can verify if this is indeed PC2700.

    After all, I am sure there are unscrupulous Dealer's who would be tempted to place such a sticker on PC2100 Ram, and increase the price accordingly, if it could not be verified.

    I hope that you understood that by "once installed" I was referring to the memory and not the program (apparently you got it!).

    It seems really unlikely that anyone would mislable memory. It is too easy to discover. But, if you buy memory out of the back of a truck in a parking lot, on the other hand.... ;)
