New Printer Driver

I am wanting to download a new driver for my Epson printer, because I keep getting the error message, spool32 as caused an error in unknown, I have been on the Epson web site and downloaded the new driver, but all I keep getting is a copy of my original printer, called Epson stylus copy 2, so do I have to remove my original printer before downloading the new driver?

Do you now show two Epson Stylus (model number ??) printers in your Printer control panel?

In any case, since you seem to be saying that the updated printer driver wants to install a "copy 2" I would remove the original and copies, if any, reboot, and then install the updated driver from Epson.

Thank you Alice for your reply, and the articles, I shall remove my original printer, ( I have already removed the copy ) and install the new updated driver to see if that solves the problem.
