need files-no win98 disk

Well, it's the same ol' story...I'm workin' on a second computer and it's not mine. I've got my windows setup files on my hard drive and never need the CD when I decide to chang things. blah, blah..Does Bill offer the DIRECT CABLE CONNECTION files found in the setup section of the Win98 CD? Like direct cable connection is advanced technology. NOT. Any help? and please-- no snickering and good intentioned advice on how ethernet and newer hardware are now available!! I know, but...I just wanna try.

Looks like the Direct Cable Connection options was never installed. Must have ran the custom install option during setup.
That's OK thanks for the thought though. What I did was to use my old Win95 CD as a source and the additional components have been installed. Getting a shared internet connection is in progress but goin's tough. Anybody help with such an ancient procedure???
