Internet connection devices...

I need as much information about MANY internet connections in "For Dummies" language...

Anyone want to give/know where I can get this information?

I'm setting up a small network at home (2 desktops and one laptop plugged in now and then)!

I just wanted some general information about connections as by searching I can only find retail information and my old resource (PCtechguide.com) is now charging!

You got any ideas about the network?

One desktop is XP,
The other is Windows98,
And as for the laptop... I'm going to see what I can get my hads on!

I want all the PC to share the same connection and also printer and I want a nice price too!

Sorry about being vague, but vague is the information I'm after!

Pretty simple to set up. Get yourself a router ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?sku=D700-2050 P ), network cards (you may have them already), cables and you're good to go.

Wireless is the same deal, but more expensive.
