Solitare loads, but the mouse will not function. If you mininizie the window, the cards will disappear.

Sol.exe is in the windows\ folder and cards.dll is in the windows\system folder. Size is correct.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled from CD...no success.

    Small but irritating problem.

    Hiya

Lets try a general cleanup first

Go to Tools | Internet Options. General tab. Under Delete Files, delete offline content. Also, clear the History.

Content tab, under AutoComplete, clear Forms and Passwords.

Advanced tab, under Browsing, look for Enable Insta on Demand. Untick.
Under Security, look for Empty Tempory Internet... Tick.
    Apply and OK

Go to Find Files and type in cookie. When found, open the folder, and delete all the cookies found. You won't be able to delete the .dat file found.

For this, go here and get the Spider:

    http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?threadid=55214&highlight=Spider

    Go here and download Spybot:

    http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/

click the online tab to search for and download the updates, then shut down and relaunch SpyBot.

Go to the Settings tab > File Sets, and uncheck 'System Internals' and 'Tracks' .
These aren't needed for our present purpose, and you can always experiment with them later on.

Finally, after closing down Internet Explorer, click 'Check for problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds 'Fix selected problems'

you may have to run spybot more than once to clear everything

    Remove everything pre-ticked in Red

Also, go here and download StartupList. Install and run, then copy/paste the list here:

    Regards
