any links for a fast shut down utility for WK2?

iv looked on web,many are registry chages,for other OS, what is suitable for Wins 2000 pro?

Just frob the power button on the front of the pc and leave. Assuming you have ACPI or APM then it will just itself down. Turn your monitor off and leave it. Even if your box takes a while to shutdown it will get there in the end. There is no reason you have to supervise the PC when it shuts down! Even if its a laptop.

Probably OT a bit, but I just bought and installed a new "Vivanco" (may well be branded differently by other companies too) Smart Office Keyboard - model EZ8000

It has a shutdown button on it (and log off user) and the operation is instantaneous.

It has several useful multimedia/windows shortcut buttons - looks good too
