Finding a picture in windows folder??

    In control panel under XP-game controllers, there is a picture of a joypad.

    Does ne 1 where it is located with in windows & how I can go about finding it

    The icon is probably in %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll if it's a system icon or within the .exe or a dll file belonging to the app for non M$ apps.

    Hi Newt.

    thanx for the reply.

    The icon is not in %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

    What i'm trying to do is change the folder icon, within the customise option.

    Can you suggest how else I can go about this.

    I am not sure this is the right one but you can check out gcdef.dll located in the Windows\System32 folder
