windows explorer foldergo names sorted

    Hi - I need help. Previously whenever I brought up a list of folders in explorer they would automatically be sorted by name. Now, if I want that to happen I have to right click & check. This can be time consuming when you need to go down many levels, or repeatedly have to resort the folders.

    Go into any folder and arrange it the way you want it. Then go to View>Folder Options>View tab and click on the button that says "Like Current Folder." That should force all folders to be arranged like the one you have just fixed.
