Replacing CD player

    Is there a way to replace the system CD player with a program of my choosing?

    How about Real Time Player, Windows Media Player, Quicktime Player, Liquid Audio Player. All free downloads.

    I have the program already installed, it comes with a recording program but it doesn't have the option of installing itself as the default player.
