I never used Access before. I just want to do this:
I happen to have a .mdb file (if I'm correct, is it not a MS Access file?). I need to extract the text in that file and have it as a .txt file. I need to use that text to create html files.
    How can I do this?
I have MS Access installed but never used it, can I do that from within access? or do I need a converter software or something?

I'd appreciate it if someone could walk me through this.
If I can convert the text to html directly, it would be best of course. But converting to txt is also fine, and I can work with that text later.

Thanks very much in advance :)

Open the .mdb file in Excel.
Holding down the Ctrl key, move the cursor over all the cells you
    wish to save.
    Right click and choose Copy.
Open a Text Editor - NotePad, Word whatever.
In the new document, right click and then Paste.
    Save the file somewhere.
Is that what you want to do ?
    regards

    OR

you could open the file using Accessselect the table/query that you want to convert>file>export> choose what file type you want>save.
