Since about 2 weeks, I am not able to contact this site using the app's "Update" tab, or contact the site in any way at all.
Is anyone else having this problem ?
    regards

    Hi Abraxas,
Thanks for the reply and link.
Still cannot get to the site with the "Update" tab OR the link you
    posted.
Maybe an overseas cable or server down somewhere.
Do you connect to them from within the same continent ?
Is it possible for you to let them know that their Far East link is dead ?
Do they post any links to mirror sites around here ?

regards and thanks again, from Thailand

PS I also had about 2 years on the Univac 1100 - best machine
of it's decade ! Cobol. Algol and very "fast" too.

I sent them a note. I'll let you know what they say.

No other links that I can see. I'll investigate more fully later.

There appear to be routers down in:

    India (Bangalore)
    Indonesia (Jawa Timur)
    Iran (Tehran)
    Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)
    Samoa

I have no idea where your connection may go, but it appears that the entire Asian continent is operating at 50% capacity (usually 80% or so, anyway). Australia is running closer to 75% overall with no outages.

Good luck. If you email me, I'll send you the update.

They wrote back saying that they are aware of no problems and have 277 hits just today from net.tw so that there does not appear to be a general inaccessibility problem from Thailand.
