Outlook Express disconnects

    Hi gang, working on a ladies puter running XP home on HP. When we open OE, after a connection to ISP, & type an email all is well until we clik "send ", then the thang just disconnects:mad:
    I have tested the moden in DM/diagnostics, & it's working ok!:)

    With Outlook Express open, click on "Tools" from Menu Bar and select "Options ". Then, click on the "Connection" tab. UNcheck "Hang up after sending and receiving ".

    You may want to close and reopen OE.
