    That is the Adobe Type Manager (ATM).

    Hit F8 repeatedly while booting to get boot menu.

    Chose safe mode.

    Start run sysedit

    chose "System.ini "

    Look for the following

    [Boot]
    SYSTEM.DRV=ATMSYS.DRV

    change it to

    [Boot]
    SYSTEM.DRV=SYSTEM.DRV

    look thru the rest of the system.ini for

    adobekey=adobekey.drv
    adobemse=adobemse.drv

    if found delete them.

    save system.ini

    shutdown
    reboot.

    In answer to your PM that you can not get to safe mode but can get to DOS.

    Then do this

    get to DOS

    In the steps below be sure to use the correct slash " \ "
    hit enter at end of each line

    type
    cd\windows

    then type

    edit system.ini

    it will open the system.ini file in an editor do not space things around or change anything else but the below

    Look for the following, should be on the 1st screen

    [Boot]
    SYSTEM.DRV=ATMSYS.DRV

    change it to

    [Boot]
    SYSTEM.DRV=SYSTEM.DRV

    look thru the rest of the system.ini for

    adobekey=adobekey.drv
    adobemse=adobemse.drv

    if found delete the 2 lines

    when finished changing hit alt x and answer y to save

    then reboot

    let me know
