Quattro Pro Date Sort

    I have a spreadsheet with one column of dates. When I sort them, they don't sort correctly. Specifically, most of the column is sorted right but 2/25 can come in the middle of a series of March dates and/or several March dates are before the Feb. dates

    Can you give me a sample of how you have the date typed:

    are they all in the format of 2/25

    such as


    1/5
    2/5
    2/10
    2/25

    And are you using the year? Such as

    1/5/03
    2/5/03
    2/10/03
    2/25/03

    I forgot to post this!

    1. Right Click your date column
    2. Choose selection properties
    3. Choose Numeric Format
    4. Choose Date
    5. Choose the style that you want
    6. Then choose OK
    7. Now when you sort it should sort properly
