STOP c0000218

HEy all,
first of all Happy easter, from down under.

Okay i have this Win XP Home computer (compaq) and it comes up with this error.

Stop c0000218
System cannot load Hive (file)
Sysroot/system32/config/security
the file(s) may be damaged or corrupt


Im not too sure but is this a security file that has all the users rights and so forth in it.
Or is it a file for the regestry? I think it has something to do with the reg..

hmmmmm any help or a push in the right direction. (i know a reinstall would do the trick, but thats the last option)

Okay imm slowly nutting this one out, but ive never herd (or used) Recovery Console, can someone tell me how to use it, or what i have to do to get it up and running...
hang on its not the recovery option on the XP CD??

Please help me.
