I have Onmipage Pro 12 that I purchased. I have been playing with it to try to make it work. I know that it is a powerful software, but because I am not familiar with it I am not using it to its full potential. I don't need all the features just a couple.

Here's the problem. My documents scans into Onmi Pro ok. In the view panes, the document looks exactly like the original. But when I export it to Microsoft Word, it does not even look the same. I even tried to copy the document out of the view pane, and that did not work. Everything is off centered, there are no lines like on the orginal, and there are "handles" around the text. I have to re-type almost the whole document. I guess what I need to know is there someone out there that could give me some hints on how to export the document to word staying close to the orginal as possible, or what am I doing wrong? I think that I have tried everything, and have come to the conclusion that I have just wasted my money on Omni Pro 12.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    OMNI PRO 12

Thanks a lot John. I know it is a good program, it's just that I am going to have to learn more about it. I had version 8, & 9, but I never had to use it that much. I don't know why I purchase version 12, but I am like a kid in a candy store when it come to software. But there are times when I can use it, and that is when I run into trouble. I really appreciate you helping me.

    Thanks again.

    Robert

Help Again w/ Omni Pro 12

I have 16 lines that I scanned in Omni Pro 12.
Example: 1. ____ Anger is sin.
It looks like everything looks good in the text editor, but the lines "____" Omni Pro does not show up in the tex editor. Is this a zone problem, because every time I scanned it it automatically scans the whole page as text. How would I make it reconize the lines???

    Thanks:(

Don't follow your meaning very well. Do you mean that the text is recognised ok but the lines are ignored?

Can you email me the original as an image file and the OCR result as a Word file?
