Hello all, okay I'm using my Yahoo e-mail account with my Outlook Express 6.0 version. Yahoo explained the way to configure OE and everything seemed okay,. Yahoo is my Default e-mail Program. The problem that I'm having is when I open OE for whatever reason I can't get OE to reconize the password for my Yahoo.com address. A window pops up that says across the top "Logon--pop.mail.yahoo.com then below it says "Server" smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Then in the line for user name I put cooldep (user name) below that I put password in that line. I get this error when I can't logon to the account::

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Error logging in. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

    Any help please...Thank you,,
    Paul

    Paul,

Yahoo! Mail no longer provides free POP3 Access or Auto Mail Forwarding to Yahoo! Delivers subscribers.

If you have subscribed to "Mail Forwarding or POP3 Access ", I would direct my questions and/or problems to Yahoo! Mail - Online Support

    Oh Well

Thank you very much AAPlus and Ski123,,I guess thats just one more freebie thats bit the dust :( I think its becoming more evident all the time that I'm going to have to spend some money for an E-mail program that works the way I want it too.
Again, many thanks for the work that you both put into my problem.
