Win ME status bar help

    My father has a probelem with his Windows ME machine.
    Whenever he opens a file like OE or IE or anything, a short cut bar ius supppse to pop up at the bottom of the status bar but it doesnt show up for him anymore. Strange :confused: :confused:

    I was wondering if any1 knows how to fix this.
    If any1 knows plz message

    In IE click on View then Status Bar.

    In OE click View, Layout and Status Bar.
