In Windows Explorer if I right click on any file to cut, copy, etc, etc.
    This take about 30-45 secs.

I ran SystemWorks 2003 in all test and probes, and nothing.

Open task manager "always on top" and the processes tab. See what goes crazy when you try right-clicking a file.

Hi again Newt, I appreciate really your help.
I follow the procedure and the "crazy" process is
System Idle Process, here flagrantly they changed the numbers or the numeric value of this process.
    Newt that I make now?
Excuse me, but my english is not very good.
    Thanks again.:)

    Hi, Zoo ~

'System Idle Process' is a process which runs on the CPU and whose sole purpose is to total up the amount of time when the processor is not doing anything. In your 'Task Manager' this process usually accounts for the majority of processor time. It is an integral part of the operating system, so you want to leave it alone.

What else do you show in your 'Processes' list?

Have you cleaned up your computer with the XP 'Disk Cleanup'?

When was the last time you defragmented your HD?
