Have you tested your sound recorder? Open the help file and you can easily test the recording and playback to be sure its a sound recorder problem.

williamdp: What you mean by sound recorder has stop working? You mean there's no sound when you try to record or whatever you tried to record does not playback?

If that's the case, try this: Right click the volumn icon on your taskbar -> Adjust Audio Properties. You should see Playback & Recording, 2 different types of icons. Click on the Recording Icon and select Microphone.

    Hope this help :)

    Hi, Bill ~

    Will it play any sound?

    Is it just not recording?

Does you unit otherwise play system event sounds?

    Do you have non-system sound?

Are you getting any error messages?

Have you installed or downloaded anything recently before this stopped working as it did?

    Please advise.

    Sound recorder.

Many thanks for replies from 'dopey' 'brucekrymow' and 'localhost. I followed the advice of 'localhost' first and the problem was solved immediately by placing a tick in a box marked 'select'. Once again many thanks. Regards, william.
