I have just installed windows 2000 on to my computer and dont have much experience with it. I set it up as a second os to my windows ME for making music with. Install was fine but everytime i loaded a driver for a device ie: delta 66 soundcard, Nvidia geforce 2 Graphics card, a blue screen would appear with an error saying 'unable to load device driver' NV4_mini.sys (error status 0xc0000185) - RASPPtp.sys (error status 0xc0000221) - ntdll.dll (error status 0xc0000221) But after 2 boots it would boot up fine. Now after installing logic audio it takes three boots to load now with constent blue screen errors!! I have a pentium 3 256mb ram p.c with via chipsets. Please can somebody help ASAP. Thankyou

Are the installations on two seperate partitions or the same partition and different directories?

I'd search mfg's web sites for updated w2k drivers for the hardware that causes problems - and also try updated VIA drivers.
