A VERY basic question regarding C and D drives....I have only 4 gb that is equally divided between the 2 drives....however, I have only 9% space available on C...and 59% available on D......what files can be safely transfered to D? and how? I was told I should not "drag and drop" between the 2 drives. And do all "program files" have to be on the C drive where all the "Windows" and "Microsoft" files are in order to work?

Thanks..........a babe in the big woods!!

You can uninstall programs installed under C:\Program Files, reboot, delete the folder corresponding with the program you just uninstalled. Then install the program onto D:\Program Files. When done, run Regcleaner. I have installed my programs this way, no bad effects. I would leave IE and OE alone, though, as too much of this are system files.
