    Hi, Gas ~

How are you attempting to delete it and from where?

Cmd line won't show it in the matching destination as per original location unless you saved it there. What is the path to the file now?

If you are attempting to delete a file from content.IE5, you may need to refer to my post to delete them manually via the DOS interface or by using Spider v1.16.

the file shows in explorer but has no attributes/size/ect

cannot delete as it does not exist

I'm assuming this is a currpt file on the HD

it is not in the content.IE5 folder now, it was copied from another HD where it was

Gasolene - never a good idea to use the command applet on NT/2K/XP. It isn't the same as the one on 9X/ME and is a sorta stupid 16bit app kept for very rare occasions when 32bit won't do the job.

You want Cmd.exe rather than Command.com. For one thing, it will show you long file names which are lots easier to deal with. For another, it can remove files that command.com won't work with.

But if that file is really resistant (won't do via cmd.exe or from safe mode with either explorer or cmd) then try booting to the recovery console and deleting it from there.

    Hi, Gas ~

What is the complete path to the file now?

Also, right-click and select 'Properties' and please post here what is displayed - thanks!
