My wife loves her accounting program called "Shoebox." Had to format my hard disc, tried re-installing Shoebox and have got problems. When I try to open it I gat a notice of:
    CYMA Run-Time ver MS86.NET 10 June 88
    error: cyma.cur, line = 0, op = 0

It did start up once from the CD I stored it on prior to the re-istallation; but now I get this same message from both the CD and the new installation. My wife will kill me if I don't clean this up; can anyone save me?

    Hi Marvin Mandell

If you were using backup "copies" from CD, sometimes when moved back, windows will status data files as "Read Only ". Just a thought.

Dennis: I think you hit it. I checked the files and they were all read only. Got rid of that and all went well.

    Thanks again

    Hi Marvin

Glad everything worked out. Checking when you say "all ", only change the files the program "writes to ". The rest of the files should stay at read only. The MOST important, "Everything is fine in Wife-Land ". :D
