    Hi, Johhny ~

It is difficult to ascertain what program to associate the open action with if you have no idea what they were in the first place. We may need more ifo from you to help you.

You did not divulge the OS in use, but if you are using XP, you can use the 'System Restore' feature to roll back to a previous date.

What you want to do is unassociate the BIK file from Quicktime, easy enough to do. Open Windows Explorer, go to the Toolbar at View\Folder Options, a window will open. Click on the tab named File Types. You are looking for a file type named Quicktime, however you will notice as you click on various file types you can see different extensions listed down below as File Type Details changing as you click on different ones. Find the one for BIK, when you do, click on Remove. This is not removing the file type from your hard drive or deleting files, it is only removing the association, assuming it was not associated with anything before. For example, in Windows Explorer, it would have normally listed as a BIK file.
If you wanted to associate it with something else, you would then doubleclick the file and choose the correct application. But you know that, this is how you got here.
